I have referred a few clients over to Refugees at Home.  Due to the chaotic nature of people about to be made homeless, some changed their mind when offered accommodation and turned it down.  This has been met with understanding and acceptance.  For the chap I’ve been working with recently who took up the offer of staying in someone’s home, it worked a dream.  He could move in as soon as his Home Office accommodation ended, and whilst staying with a host, was able to source and then move into his own room in the private rented sector.  The hosting was an excellent stop gap that helped provide exactly what was needed.  Refugees at Home are a pleasure to work with; good at keeping up to date with situations and circumstances.  The hosts have been friendly, helpful, flexible and offer safe spaces where I feel comfortable sending vulnerable clients.  Thank you for the good work.
