In December, the Home Affairs Committee published a report into the terrible conditions faced by asylum seekers in this country.

Refugees at Home co-founder Sara Nathan was invited onto BBC Two’s Victoria Derbeyshire program to talk about the realities of being a destitute asylum seeker in the UK today.

Sara, along with SNP MP sSewart McDonald and refugee Ibrahim discussed the problem, and what can be done to make life better for those seeking refuge in our country.

If you missed it at the time, you can watch the full 7-minute discussion here.
