Britain abandons the rights of children
Our host and trustee, Sara Nathan, wrote this week for the Chiswick Calendar about the changes to British law protecting child refugees and the important work of Refugees At Home patron, Lord Dubs.
Sara speaks candidly about the implications of these changes and the impact they will have on children who manage to reach the UK and what that means for our society as a whole,
‘If we want the UK to be the sort of civilised country which doesn’t approve of children, victims of war and persecution, being rejected and left to suffer, we have to take action ourselves’.
